The Cloverdale Fiddle Festival is set to happen April 7, 2018. Your hosts, the Cloverdale Citrus Fair, the California State Old Time Fiddle Association and the Sonoma County Folk Society are looking forward to presenting another fine festival. We also get a big assist from Lagunitas Brewery. TICKETS ARE $19 GENERAL ADMISSION, $15 FOR SENIORS (65+), $15 AGES 6-12 AND CHILDREN 6 AND UNDER ARE FREE.
In addition to the fiddle contest, you can look forward to performances and workshops on the California Bluegrass Associations Jamming Stage. Check the Entertainment page on this web site for performers as things develop. RV and tent camping are available on a first come first serve basis. Electricity and showers are available and patrons are encouraged to stay Friday and Saturday nights to take advantage of the jamming opportunities.
Fiddlers are encouraged to preregister to avoid the long lines incurred in same day registration. Rules are posted under contestant rules. Remember Cloverdale is an independent fiddle contest and not subject to the rules of the California State Old Time Fiddle Association. However it does make a nice warm up for the National Contest in Weiser, Idaho. There has been one change to the fiddle contest format. Due to time constraints the winners of the Waltz Division will be determined by the fiddler’s highest scores in their respective divisions.
We here in Cloverdale hope you continue to support this fine festival as we continue to carry the spirit of old time fiddling into the future. If you need further information not provided here feel free to call Judith Jones at 707-337-3940 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
